What's New at Pipplet

New Feature: Proctoring Alerts

by Pipplet
New Product Feature

Admin users will be notified via the dashboard and email if a security violation or unusual behavior is detected during a test. This feature is now activated for all users—no action from you is needed to enable it.

Proctoring Alerts provide clear and contextualized insights to uphold test integrity, combat fraud attempts, and help you make informed decisions.

Alert Categories:

  • Unusual Behavior: We detected some unusual behavior on the test, but the test remains valid and a grade is provided. The admin is informed of the potential issue, and may review the test themselves.

  • Test Security Violation: The test taker has violated our test security guidelines, and as a result their test has been invalidated.

Special characters - No more keyboard issues

by Pipplet
Improvement

Do you test your candidates' skills in non-Latin languages*?

Before the test begins, they will be asked to test their keyboard to make sure that they have the necessary keyboard installed, and won't encounter any technical difficulties.

Benefits:

  • If an issue is detected, a help article will appear explaining to your candidate how to install a compatible keyboard. They will then be able to start their test with peace of mind.

  • The detection is done before the test starts, so your candidates will not get stuck during the test.

* Languages: Japanese, Chinese (Mandarin), Chinese (Cantonese), Arabic, Thai, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Korean, Russian, Ukrainian, Bulgarian.

Taking the test – The sooner, the better

by Pipplet
New Product Feature

As you know, your invitations to take the Pipplet Test are sent to the test takers by email.

But like all of us, they get so many emails that sometimes they don't notice them, and this can slow down your internal processes.

Pipplet's solution

To encourage your candidates to take the test more quickly you can now choose to send reminders by SMS (text message). It's optional, and completely free.

How does it work?

It's simple: when you add a new test taker, just fill in their phone number and make sure that the box “Send SMS reminder” is checked (see below).

Please contact us if you have any questions. We'll be happy to help!

Accessibility and inclusion : Pipplet at the forefront

by Pipplet
Announcement

Pipplet's language tests are designed to assess candidates or employees by giving them the opportunity to demonstrate oral and written skills in a foreign language.

Since 2015, our developers have joined the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) to make Pipplet easily accessible to people with disabilities. To do so, our test interface is based on the accessibility features of the main browsers.

Additionally, we have recently made it possible for the recruiter to extend the test’s duration, in order to allow your candidates with disabilities to take their test in the best conditions.
